The black dots of musical notes, universal visual and audio representations, hop up and down, one after another between the horizontal and vertical lines of the musical staves to express instantly spellbinding rhythms. The mesmerizing music heard is at times melodious, at times harsh. How about the sounds within ourselves? Can the resonance within be composed into an affective piece of music, too? Vivid acrylic media complement the visual effect as they reflect lustrous colors that depict various pitches corresponding to the perceived sounds. The intuitive interaction helps the viewer become part of the work and links the audio and visual images. Acrylic media communicate the sound pitches to complete a moving tri-symphony of human, sound and visual imagery. In other words, the viewer receives immediate sound feedback by interacting with the work and pulling on the acrylic media. At the same time, visual perceptions of simulated images, touch of real acrylic media and reflected rays interconnected with the sounds alternate between solid and void and accompany the rise and fall of purely audio signals, as the two sets of musical experiences are juxtaposed.
