Born in 1975, Taiwan, Tainan, Cheng received her MA of Visual Culture in Department of Fine Arts at Middlesex University, England in 2001. She was the curator of MOCA, Taipei （2006-2008） and co-founder of Taipei Contemporary Art Center （2009.）

The international exhibitions she produced include “Navigator—International Digital Art Exhibition” （National Taiwan Museum of Fine Art）, “2nd B!AS -International Sound Art exhibition” （Taipei Fine Art Museum）,“ZONE_V2_ -Unstable Media: Act – Interact,” “Naked Life” and “City on the Move” （MOCA, Taipei.）
Cheng has also curated young artists’ shows: “Silence Attacks,” ”Universality” and “Bringing to View the Invisible Spectacle” by Norihisa Hashimoto at MOCA, Taipei. She was invited to be the jury of Urban Nomad film festival and co-curated the video art section of the festival in Taipei Contemporary Art Center.
Her articles were published in Artco Magazine （Taiwan）, MOCA Taipei exhibition catalogues, as well as Gallery Magazine （China）, Art and Investment （China）. She received the curatorial research grant from National Foundation for Arts and Culture in 2008 and is invited to be the curator in residence for 3331 Arts Chiyoda （Tokyo） in 2011 February.
Now she is a board member of Taipei Contemporary Art Center Association and works as a freelance writer and an independent curator in Taipei.
