Harmony Graph, the Installation

The structure hidden behind a musical piece is an aspect we can understand the music. Combination of pitches forms various “harmonies”, and the ordered harmonies make musical meanings under the mastering of time. We cannot help to listen to sound, and perhaps we can represent the relation between these sounds, in some sense. In “Harmony Graph, the installation,” harmonies are recorded and visualized as a node-link graph. Through this, we may find some rules hiding in the sounds of random, or some surprise and escapeness from those of stable and square.
