The Effect of Relationship records the resonating sound of wind blowing through window gaps inside a building – a sound heard by the artist. Two forms of sound are combined here: one is the resonating sound at the window gaps on the hallway, the other the sound made by the artist. Resonance occurs at window gaps due to both external conditions (wind) and internal ones (window and building architecture). Implications drawn from this sound of resonance are: the condition of human voice is subject to multiple factors interacting with one another; these factors include environmental impact, physiology, psychology and the geographical and temporal context.
