The advent of the Internet allows us to know what is happening in the world (out) from the comfort of home (in), hence there is no more distinction between the in and the out; now, the computer screen becomes the door of my house, it is the distinguishing interface between the in and the out. “Windows” it describes that the digital photons of the computer operating system “Windows” are replacing the natural photons of the actual windows. Gradually, artificialness is replacing naturalness, while virtual reality is replacing actual reality. In the artwork, the author attempts to muddle up mechanical speed with the speed of computer photons, as well as the distinction between indoor and outdoor.
