電腦圖像和互動技術學會(Siggraph)成立於2008年，忠於1974年首屆會議所建立之傳統，成為科技、藝術、文化與科學交會的平台，每年於不同的亞洲城市召開會議。此一特別興趣群(專業組)身為推動計算機圖形、動畫、藝術與科技進步之首要平台，除了維持它在學術研究社群中舉足輕重之領導地位外，亦以其在相關產業的穩固根基著稱。

亞洲電腦圖像和互動技術學會(Siggraph)透過其規劃的電腦動畫影展以及影展所包含的多元內容，使參觀者能夠目睹針對電腦動畫與視覺效果最新穎的探索與轉變。此影展亦以涵蓋廣闊的藝術創意光譜與藝術的各種技術層面著稱。

True to the tradition of SIGGRAPH since its inception in 1974, SIGGRAPH Asia is the platform where technology, art, culture, and science meet, annually touring a city to city in Asia which started in 2008. SIGGRAPH Asia continues its tradition of being the premier platform for the advancement of graphics, animation, art, and technology. Apart from maintaining its strong standing amongst the academic research community, SIGGRAPH Asia also features strengthen its foothold within related industries.

Through its diverse programs, the SIGGRAPH Asia Computer Animation Festival is the place where people can view the most innovative exploration and transition in computer-generated animation and visual effects. The festival features a wide spectrum of infinite artistic creativity as well as technical aspects of art.
