Human cloning is always a controversial topic with enthusiastic discussions. We would like to create our works with the body of clones, discussing man’s inner fear and ugliness. The style of the entire movie presents an uneasy and heavy mood with plain colors and large-area shadows. The plot is fast-paced and has many surprising twists. We want to make the audience continuously recall and find the truth of the story. The indoor backgrounds of the animations were created by 3D modeling and then converted back to hand-drawings, which can thereby deal with a large number of complex camera movements and zooming scenes. To largely use this technology in the scenes of copy machine operation can efficiently and rapidly produce the frames which are hard to be handled by traditional hand-drawings. In addition, concerning the special effects of lightning and smoke, the lightning from hand-drawings instead of computer special effects can more present the style of hand-drawn animations.
