3D Computer animation

This short animation is inspired by a true story happened in certain zoo, satirizing that people only cared about their own goods thus feed wrong food to the animals.

This creation was completed with MAYA 2009, Turtle Renderer, After Effect CS3, Photoshop CS3, Premiere CS3 and Illustrator CS3. The program of the extension skeleton written by MAYA was to test the action flexibility of four-footed animal roles. In parts of 2D scenes, 2D applicability and 3D utility were also tested. The background painting was processed by Matte Painting to decrease the number of models and the load of rendering. And, Turtle Renderer 5.0 was tested to understand the potential of the new rendering plug-in and the interface application mode.

The creator set green as the primary hue of the video, testing the screen effect of the green color system and the art effect of the green hue. In terms of the marketplace, the market’s acceptability toward the appearance and style was tested by this video’s style settings so as to increase the possibility of renewing the video style.
