“Red Moon” is a fully 3D-animated short film. It utilizes the most recent sophisticated 3D technology and software, and trying display the artistry of the puppet claymation.

The story describes one man who had become a vegetable since an accident, and had suffered from the cold-heartedness and betrayal of his wife. However he was unable to give vent to his resentment. Finally, he headed to the end of his life after destroyed everything by anger.

The red moon symbolized the misfortune and curse connecting throughout the entire film. It stands for the significant catastrophe of life, the heavy burden and also means an unknown supernatural power.

Artist Introduction

The artist born in the town Caotun in Nantou. He entered the Fine Arts Department of Chinese Culture University for training the ability of art. Finally he entered the Department of Multimedia and Animation in Nation Taiwan University of Art, and started to major in creating animation. During these days, he finished two 3D-animated short film and join in the team developing the animation series of “The Swordsman Wen”. His earlier work included “Super Man”, “PUPPET” and “EGG”. He is also the art design of game “MENENTO MORI”, “LADY＆SMITH” and “Peregrine”.
