“River” describes the concept of “dream.” Instead of following the tendency of the environment, the leading role intends to break through the world’s limits and recklessly persist in pursuing goals and freedom. It conveys that we all slowly lose the courage to challenge the environment, making our dreams gradually disappear under life and social pressure as if the angels losing wings pace in the man's world. There is a blueprint in everyone’s mind, but which is gradually buried in memory dust. The leading role’s persistence and courage take us to a scrap iron factory for searching the last piece of dream jigsaw puzzle, making hopes soar and stride across the hedge in the reality.

“River” mainly describes that individuals search for their positions in the environment, and seek for balance under interpersonal relationships and social values connected closely layer upon layer. In terms of visual imagery, in order to highlight the story atmosphere, although the light purple whale that appears and disappears alternately does not interact with the roles in the story, it finally shows up over the whole city, creating a strong impact between illusion and reality via the contrast between falseness and trueness. The scenes also convey the uneasiness and the desire of being comforted hidden in the city via Buddhist images, symbols and divinity-looking roles that continuously appear.
