The Grinder of Knives

This animation was created in 2006, when Director Stan Chiu studying in National Taiwan University of Arts, NTUA . Protagonist of the story is a sharpen walker in the street. In the modern big city, still adhere to the traditional skills. He’s cried their wares in the streets every day. The protagonist of the movie will contest with sharpen robot .Trying to use animation to remind you the traditional values is disappearing in normal life.

This work was awarded the 2007 2 ^nd K.T. Creativity Awards Computer Animation Art Competition Silver Award, Seoul International Animation Festival (SICAF) Student Animation Finalist, Taipei Film Festival Award for Best Animation Finalist. 2009 Second nameless Ichiban Filmmaker Awards Animation Award. 2007 Taiwan International Animation Festival Invited exhibited. 2006 4C Digital Content Competition PC Animation Manufacturer Sponsorship Award.
