With a humorous technique, “It Says” tells a story about a mistress intervening in a marriage. The background is set to be the ancient times to satirize the chaos in the modern society. The seemingly quite reasonable polygamy contrasts with the modern monogamy. The mistress is like a changeable “Dragon Li,” making a man fascinated. In the video, a Tainan element, the scene of the “Anping Tree House,” is also blended to add some kind of mystery.
At the beginning, we considered the theme “monster” very special, of which “Japanese” monsters are the most well-known and fascinating. We skimmed through a monster atlas in the library and decided to choose the monster on the page we turn to. We stopped on the page of “raccoon dogs” and associated them with changeable “Dragon Lis.” Accordingly, the story was made up on the basis of the role element “Dragon Li” but soon changed into a love story between a female monster and a male human. The story was modified for a long time. Our teacher suggested us to combine it with the topic “mistress” in the current events.

The Acorn team consists of four little crazy Dragon Lis. No matter how “seriously” we completed an animation, everyone laughed once the creation was made public. Because “It Says” is our last animation during the four-year college life, we directly present it as a comedy, showing the serious issue in the modern society by a humorous way.
