I remembered that I was haunted by several meaningless, trivial things such as bedtime anxiety, my finger calluses, endless waiting, loneliness, stains, furnishings, and so forth. These trivia resembled flies or the sound made by mosquitos lingering over my head at night. Each of them might be pretty picayune. However, they were definitely a kind of torture.

The series of Tiny Torture consists of various installations such as a callus-removing device, a noisy bedside lamp, a machine sharing a cigarette with you, a countdown timer that never makes zero, a robot that scans and removes stains, accompanied by several video installations and orderly arranged objects. This series not only shows illusion-like imaginations that were reminiscent of the fragments of our quotidian existence, but also vividly depicts the details about every chapter of torture.
