Strange meeting in an empty space

Sound interdisciplinary artist Stéphane Kozik and dancer Julia Hadi both created this video in the the Ordesa National Park (Aragon, Spain), as the result of their participation to the nomadic project Park in progress initiated by European Pépinières of young artists, co-organised by the City of Huesca in Spain (and its festival Priferias then on the theme of horror), Transcultures and other European cultural institutions. Stéphane Kozik ventured into an area where the vultures gather, installed sensors and cameras to imagine a performance with Julia Hadi. Working the sound design as made from site specific recordings, Stéphane Kozik confronted the wild and disturbing nature of this gathering of 500 vultures to discuss the myths that this bird vehicle.
