The ‘HandSketch’ is a digital instrument made for two-hand control of voice quality: texture, intensity, glottal flow parameters. It is a dynamic device: a pen tablet with pressure sensors (FSR). It is constructed around a tablet WacomTM, held vertically along the upper body. The ‘HandSketch’ uses a particular polar transformation of space control. The detection is based on wind instruments and strings; it is also suitable for manual use. It is important to note that the instrument has evolved into nine successive versions. The current version is HS1.8 which reached a more stable form.
