‘Digital breakfast’ is a freaky audio project that deflects the universe of breakfast to generate in real time a visual and sonic surrealist environment. Made of mechanical dadaist sculpture, self-acting kitchen equipment and vibrating food, this installation reproduces the singular ambiance of waking up, that moment of confusion between dream and reality.
Founded in 2011, ‘Digital breakfast’ was initially a performance/concert project based on electronic music live set, made only by food manipulation. They cooked especially at L’Ososphère Festival (Strabsourg), Festival de Bains Numériques (Paris), Nuits Sonores (Lyon) and Festival City Sonic (Mons). Today the project turns into a robotic installation that creates a mechanical kitchen in which the equipment moves to create a visual and sonic choreography.
