‘Livescape’ is an unprecedented audio-visual performance, joined with nature, machine and human, providing an immersive universe, plunging the audience in a new poetic reality.

In this live laboratories/performances, the collective explores possible connections between art and science, transforming the elements of our biosphere to give birth to unusual forms. Those new instruments and interfaces come to life when they are handled and manipulated live by the sound/visual ‘Livescape’ artists.

‘Livescape’ offers a creative reflection on the technical and scientific issues and abuses that can be caused by our human nature in an ultra-contemporary technological society and disconnected from its environment. ‘Livescape’ also wishes to raise issues related to acoustic ecology in this experience at times dark and joyful, playful and intimate, ‘Livescape’ sometimes perform with their favourite chicken, that became their best interactive drummer. Another touch of humour, which is particular to ‘Livescape’, is the vegetable synthesizer, which has established itself as one of the performance jewels.

‘Livescape’ is a participatory project, a collective, a performance, but also a dynamic that takes many forms: workshops, installations, concerts, meetings. After each performance, the public is invited to handle the instruments and ask questions about the artistic process and the technical operation. These moments of exchanges, encounters and dialogues are integral parts of the ‘Livescape’ project.
