Video installation

The artist pays tribute to philosopher Jean Baudrillard with the work Perfect Crime. The man in the mirror enters the real world where he perpetrates an etching and perfect crime. Perfect Crime consists of three major elements, namely “break,” “gunshot,” and “photography.” The artist assumes a man in the mirror who attempts to break through the barrier between the real world and the world in the mirror. He then shoots from the world in the mirror at the targets in the real world as an act of intimidation. The man in the mirror finally photographs the scenes in the real world, thereby substituting himself for the viewers in the real world.
