Faust Digital Art Workshop

GRAME, centre national de création musicale, will bring us Faust (faust.grame.fr), the latest trend in digital music. Faust is new free software that can be used as a communication tool between various music softwares. The Faust Research and Development Division Director himself will give lectures in this studio, allowing participants to learn to establish, through Faust, high professional digital audio processing program.

Objectives of the workshop

At the end of the workshop the participants will:
  - have acquire basic programming skills in Faust
  - have acquire basic knowledge of signal processing
  - understand how simple digital audio effects work
  - be able to develop their own audio applications
