Le Laboratoire d'images : inventing the computer graphics of tomorrow!
Christian Janicot invited 30 of the finest contemporary illustrators and artists working in cartoons, the publishing industry and the press to team up with student directors from the most prestigious French and Belgium schools of animation (Supinfocon Arles, EMCA Angôuleme, Albert Jacquard Namur), to find out how their 2D artistic styles would come to life – in moving 3D images! Together they have created about 30 original 3D shout films and have set the benchmark for the creative arts of tomorrow.
The Anthology of Invisible Cinema 一書作者。(該書節選一百篇詩人、作家所創作且從未被改編成電影的文稿）。他創辦了繪本文學工廠(The Factory of Illustrated Literature），並致力於文字、影片、動作等創作題材的實驗。 作為一名藝術導演、知名藝術與動畫學院(Émile Cohl, Supinfocom)講師、以及電影、動畫、特效藝術的狂熱者，他主導的「法國影像實驗室計畫」結合了當代傑出的插畫家與藝術家，其目的是為了成就一場多媒體藝術的大冒險。 現階段他即將完成「法國影像實驗室計畫」第三季。目前定居於巴黎。
Author of L'Anthologie du cinema invisible ('The Anthology of Invisible Cinema') – a hundred scripts by poets and writers that were never made into films – he established La Fabrique de Littérature Graphique ('The factory if Illustrated Literature') to experiment with the relationship between words, pictures and movement. As an artistic director, a lecturer at major art and animation schools such as Émile Cohl and Supinfocom, and a passionate fan of pictures, animation and special effects, he dreamed up and directs Le Laboratoire d'images with the aim if forging this vast multimedia adventure bringing together the most talented contemporary illustrators and artists into collection, He is actually completing Le Laboratoire d'images, season 3. He lives in Paris.
