一個不明物體飛快的射進一間由許多老舊時鐘所堆疊而成的房間裡，破壞了一只正在十二點整報時的咕咕鐘，整個房間的時間也隨之停止。 　　

報時的咕咕鳥為了修復時鐘，意外發現調整咕咕鐘的分針能使房間內的時間倒流或前進，卻始終無法使咕咕鐘本身恢復完整。在嘗試過程中，咕咕鳥不慎被指針夾住腳指，牠不斷掙扎，由於力道過大，意外從撞碎的窗戶飛離了房間，才發現咕咕鳥原本存在於動畫膠卷的影格裡，牠飛出了房間窗戶，也就飛出了膠卷的世界。 咕咕鳥隨著作用力，不由自主的往膠卷的前端飛去，直到撞進其中一張影格，牠又再度回到原先（片頭）的房間，撞壞正在十二點整報時的咕咕鐘，同時也因力道太強而穿出房間，落進膠卷世界外無數的咕咕鳥殘骸之上。

The time in a room stacked with many old clocks stops when an unknown object plunged into the room and broke a cuckoo clock which was telling the time of day. While fixing the clock, the cuckoo accidentally found the time in the room can be moved backward or forward by adjusting the minute hand. But that didn't make the clock itself back to a complete set. The cuckoo's toe was stuck by the clock hand while it was trying to repair. It pulled its leg out from the clock so hard that unexpectedly rushed out of the room through the broken window. Then we found the cuckoo originally existed in frames of a film roll. It flew out of the world in the film roll once it flew out of the window in the room. The cuckoo flew to the front of the film roll with its pulling force and bumped into one of the frames. Then it came back to the original room (in the beginning of the animation) again, and rushed into the cuckoo clock which was telling the time. Meanwhile the cuckoo was passing through the room and ended up falling into a pile of cuckoo remains outside the world of film roll.
